It is night time and I’m at my parent’s house.
I ask my mom to take me to get pizza.
We get into our white van and she gets behind the wheel.
I notice that she is driving erratically.
She is driving on the sidewalk and over people’s lawns.
Small children are illuminated by her headlights.

My very first poetry reading was last night.
Everything when wrong when I smudged my nail polish in the shower. “FUCK! Motherfucking COCKSUCKER!” The once smooth bright pink surface was now marred by an unsightly dent caused by the shampoo bottle. This happens when you apply multiple layers of nail polish and
Eating easter candy purchased at full price in February.
Stewing and continuing to lose muscle mass.
Wasted calories that won’t burn.
Found in a folder called “college crap project”. When I first opened it, my computer crashed.

“This girl flailed around in her swimming pool before screaming that there wasn’t enough water, then cut it up with an electric knife….. She then used the knife to cut a fat steak in half, threw it on the floor a few times before dancing around with it, and then screamed about wanting to swim before sitting down to cut her swimmies up. #lumen #lumen2014”

Lesson learned : Salt in an open wound is painful.
It was dusk and I was walking up the street to my parents house and I noticed three ambulances in front of their neighbors house. The lights were flashing, illuminating the entire street blue and red. I ran to them.
